WORSHIP MINISTRY TEAM: Chair- Jo Hollinsworth

WORSHIP MINISTRY TEAM CHAIR: Mrs. Theresa Bevers

Worship Ministry Team   GOAL:   The Worship Ministry Team

1. 'works with the pastor and music leader(s) to ensure that (our) congregation provides opportunities for worship that will help (our) congregation experience its relationship with God and will help (us) live more faithfully as a Christian community.

2. works closely with the Church Council to respond to God's call' (and) help(s) our church offer settings for vital worship in which people experience the presence of God and grow in the knowledge of God.'

VITAL WORSHIP:    God's story, our human story, is ALWAYS told!

People are welcomed, honored and cared for;

Jesus is experienced at present in love and power;

People and the community are changed by the power of the Holy Spirit;

There is passion in singing, preaching and praying;

Worship area is arranged to encourage people to be together and see one another;

Actions of the worshipping community greet one another, celebrate the Sacraments and point to the Living Presence of the risen Lord; and

The symbols and signs of grace and faith are reflected in ways that point to the Presence of God!
