  • Annual Conference Dates

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, changes to the format and schedule of the 2020 Oklahoma Annual Conference were necessary. Annual Conference will be held November 20-21 at OKC- Church of the Servant.

  • Special Offering for Annual Conference

This year’s Conference offering will go in support of our Disaster Response efforts currently working largely in the north-eastern quadrant of our state. The result of the extensive flooding events in 2019, plus a few tornadoes, Oklahoma is once again rising to the task of restoring some 1,200 families to dry and safe homes. UMCOR is supporting us as always, but the funding they are able to give is substantially down from previous disasters, due to many other events that require their assistance. Our staff is hard at work case managing the affected families and volunteers are already signing up to help. But, to help them all, they will need further assistance!

  • Teacher Appreciation Lunch

As teachers and students prepare to begin the 2020-2021 school year, we (the Lindsay United Methodist Church) will be providing a catered lunch for the Lindsay Public School faculty on Tuesday, August 11th. We do this each year but this year it will be catered and take place at the Lindsay Public School Cafeteria. Lunch will include: a Croissant sandwich, individual bag of chips, pickle spear, cookie and a bottle of water.
If you would like to donate toward the cost of this meal, please mail your donation to the church. For more information call the church office.
